Student Leadership Services, Inc. (SLS) develops young leaders who are creating social change.SLS is the umbrella organization of youth-led prevention organizations in Michigan.High school programs are: Students Leading Students. The middle schools program are: Students Taking A New Direction (STAND).Belonging, Involving and Growing (Go BIG) is the elementary program.
SLS trains youth in leadership, peer influence and life skills through peer education and interactive programs.Groups focus on reducing alcohol and other drug use, eliminating the number of alcohol-related crashes, distracted and dangerous driving, encouraging students to make healthy life choices and increase positive peer influence.
