Text Box: Download the SAB Application Now!!  Due April 10th Text Box: SAB Requirements and Expectations for 2008 Term As a member of the Student Advisory Board (SAB), I will uphold the values and mission of Student Leadership Services, Inc.: I will commit to being drug/alcohol/violence-free lifestyle for the duration of being on the SAB. I will act responsibly and represent SLS in a positive way during SLS events and outside of SLS events. I will communicate with the other SAB members as well as the SAB Advisor(s) on a regular basis. I understand that I must remove ALL inappropriate messages, sayings, surveys, videos, pictures, blogs and any other damaging information that could misrepresent the reputation or SLS or myself from all/any online sites.  I understand that my usage of websites such as Facebook, Myspace, or any other similar site will be monitored and if anything inappropriate is found I will be dismissed from the board. I understand I must attend all scheduled meetings, including the 3-day Leadership Training July 31-Aug 2, 2008. I understand that all meetings will be held at the SLS office in Waterford and I will need to have reliable transportation. I understand that it is mandatory to attend the HS Conference at Shanty Creek Resort in Bellaire and I will need reliable transportation there and home. I understand that I must miss at least two days of school for the HS Conference. I understand that I am responsible to pay for my lodging to attend the HS Conference at Shanty Creek. I will follow through on my responsibilities on the board. I understand that there may be additional opportunities that I could be invited to participate in during my term. I understand that if I do not have my assignments in on time then I will be unable to participate in that activity/opportunity etc. I understand that my team members rely on me to do my part on the board. I understand I am responsible to raise at least $500 in sponsorship money to help with my expenses on the board. I understand that it is a privilege and honor to be on the SAB and I will do my best to represent SLS and to be a role model for my peers. I am committed to being on the SAB 100%.
